Skyline City's police commissioner has served on the police force for more than 40 years. He has never contemplated retirement, for the obvious reason that any policeman one week from retirement will be killed by drug dealers while bragging about his plans to sail around the world.

In addition to running the regular police force, The commissioner is the police liaison for all superhero assistance. He is in regular contact with the Japanese Beetle, and can signal for his help at any time with the aid of the copyright-infringing "Beetle-signal." He also has his beeper number.
