By: David Bowie October 22, 2002
My friend purchased this CD for me thru Amazon (rather than download it, because I'm a huge Bowie fan and of course wanted the full package with artwork), and we were both shocked to find that this 'Audio CD' (in quotes because it really ISNT an audio CD) will not play in any player I have in the house. From: RCA May 10, 1994
This is a fantastic disc! Peter and the Wolf sounds whimsical, fun, and great as narrated by David Bowie. Bowie proves to be the best narrator yet for Peter and the Wolf! Britten's Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra sounds excellent as performed by Eugene Ormandy and the Philadelphia Orchestra! To wrap up the disc we have a stellar performance of Saint Saens Carnival of the Animals by... more
