| 1. A Reality Tour |
|
By: David Bowie January 26, 2010
I had the pleasure of seeing David Bowie on the Reality Tour here in Seattle. At that time i was struck by the strength of his voice, the power of the assembled band, and the qualit of the sound. Having seen Bowie with Tin Machine and on the Glass Spider / Sound + Vision tours, you become accustomed to top flight productions. But, did this all translate to a CD? The simple answer is 'yes.' A couple... more

| 2. Best of Bowie |
|
By: David Bowie October 22, 2002
My friend purchased this CD for me thru Amazon (rather than download it, because I'm a huge Bowie fan and of course wanted the full package with artwork), and we were both shocked to find that this 'Audio CD' (in quotes because it really ISNT an audio CD) will not play in any player I have in the house. If you put it in your computer the drive will just make TERRIBLE noises and you wont be able to... more

| 4. Peter and the Wolf / Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra / Carnival of the Animals |
|
From: RCA May 10, 1994
This is a fantastic disc! Peter and the Wolf sounds whimsical, fun, and great as narrated by David Bowie. Bowie proves to be the best narrator yet for Peter and the Wolf! Britten's Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra sounds excellent as performed by Eugene Ormandy and the Philadelphia Orchestra! To wrap up the disc we have a stellar performance of Saint Saens Carnival of the Animals by... more

|
By: David Bowie September 28, 1999
Hunky Dory being Bowie's 1971 release and his 4th studio album starts out with a bang with "the amazing track "Changes", and another great track is "Life on Mars?". The booklet has many fine photographs of Bowie posing in many outlandish outfits. It also contains all the lyrics and we also get a list of whom plays what on the album. 5/5... more

| 7. Space Oddity (40th Anniversary Edition) |
|
By: David Bowie November 17, 2009
Yo Bowie! If you bother to read what your fans think about your cds, I wish you would have kept the 1972 album jacket of "Space oddity". This cd jacket is bloody awful, a real turn-off. Now that the harm is done, you could make more money by putting the same product but with the 1972 jacket so that completists purchase both cds and people with more discriminating taste like me, throw away this... more
