Bought two - one came broke I bought two of the watches. One of the watches is working and the other one broke after 20 minutes of use! It broke just after I pluged the earjack. It blinked and did not work anymore. I tried to contact the seller (twice) and they did not answer at all. There is also a weird thing (at least for me). The wrist belt has a weird way to close. The watch belt is made to close at the inside of the belt and not the ouside (gee, I can't even explain in a good way).
Not durable enough for anyone with a normal life. I got this watch five hours ago, and now it won't tell time. As far as I can tell, everything else on it, like music and pictures still works, but the time says 33:85:85. But the main reason I got this watch was to tell time. Every time that I try to set it, it reverts back to that impossible time. As far as what it does it works really well, the mp3s and voice work like a charm, but like I said, I had it for about five hours. So what hideous thing is it that I did to break this watch you ask? Well, I had it on when I washed my hands. That's right folks, it is not even semi-water resistant. After looking back at the manual that came with it, it was made perfectly clear that it cannot widthstand normal every day use. For your better understanding, I will give you the usage warnings on this watch. Oh, and I know that the English is terrible, but this watch came from china and this is actually what the manual says.
" 1. do not expose Mp4 under sunlight. do not approach mp4 to heat scource like electric heater. 2. do not put mp4 in the environment of the temperature under 0 degree (32 degree) or up50 degree(122 degree) 3. do not approach the mp4 to the magnetic field 4. do not put the mp4 in the rain or the humidity 5. do not sprinkle any liquid to mp4 6. do not let mp4 withstand fiercly shakes or hit 7. do not expose mp4 to the dusty environment. "
So, after having read this, I realize that I did what I wasn't supposed to do with the watch. But if you live in a place where it is never hot, never cold, never humid, never raining, never dusty, and you never sweat, then by all means buy this watch. I am just putting this warning out there to advise you of what you cannot do while wearing this watch.
Good Invention This watch is really cool. I just bought it and I like it a lot.
The time: The numbers are clear and easy to read on the screen. It shows the day and date as well. You can switch between 24 hour time and 12 (am - pm) hour time.
The music: The sound is good with the earphones they give you.
The video: The video converter works well. Although I do not recommend putting movies that have subtitles only :P (But you can still kind of read it!)
The pictures: The pictures are as good as anything 128x128, it's best to create pictures in that actual size.
The Ebooks: I tried this and it works, however you need to mess with it a little to get the *.txt file to not chop off the top portion (Some of the beginning lines). At least for mine. Anyway, if you like reading then you will like this feature.
Voice recording: Voice recording works well, if you want to make a memo to yourself or record a conversation.
I can't figure out about the fm radio... I think the instruction manual may be talking about a different model.
Things that it could improve on (Not a problem, but everything can be better right?): 1. The small earphone jack isn't a problem for me, however wireless earphones would be something I look forward to. 2. If this had a circle body, they could probably put bigger easier to press buttons. In any case, it's a little hard to press the small buttons when the watch is on you.
I'm still playing with it, but so far I like it overall.
Very nice watch! Real chick magnet! When I first bought this watch I was worried it would be too small for my wrist - And I was right. But, only because I have very large wrists. I believe for someone normal sized this would fit quite well. The face is large and crystal clear at any angle and the materials used are not of poor quality. The wrist strap is a type of spongy rubber, like a thick neoprene. It feels great. The functionality: this thing sounds wonderful. And LOUD. I use this watch when I mow my lawn and it (unlike other mp3 players) can pump out the sound at a HIGH enough volume to drown out my lawnmower. The sound quality is top notch. Videos are decent and don't take up much space. Overall I am VERY happy with this watch. The only thing I dislike about it is the earphone jack is 2.5mm (1/8") cellphone, not the standard 3.5mm (3/32"). You can buy an adapter for this but the provided earbuds work great with rich sound, not tinny like cheap earbuds.
More than you expect in a watch [...] Great mp3 player, works great and has voice recorder, movie player amd picture viewer. Forget getting a keychain picture viewer. This is cheaper than many 1GB, seems too good to be true, but it turns out to be no bigger than my old watch. The OLED screen can be viewed at even the most extreme angle. It includes a video conversion software and I have converted favorite TV shows and even a coulple of movies into its .smv format. I am so far surprised by the quality of the construction, the quality of the programming and the rich feature set. It even supports reading of test files and displays lyrics associated with music files. The ony regret is that the headphones have a smaller jack, similar to mey cell phone. This means I cannot use my normal headphones with the unit. In the end a good deal for the money.
