Not what I thought but great regardless! Though I was expecting hard plastic at first I was pleasantly surprised with what I received. They are highly durable and fun to play with. Before giving them to my siblings as gifts (knowing they weren't hard plastic made it a great gift idea) I had to test for myself. Again very durable and easy to use for even beginners. Over all a great buy for the mini-ninja(s) in your family!
