It looks great and for the price it is a good blu ray to have. All of the videos look incredible and for the price it is valuable. I use it to show off my HDTV and my blu ray player. Or just to relax at night, listen to the music and watch the scenery. Definitly recomend it over Living Landscapes HD The World's Most Beautiful Places [Blu-ray]. I thought there would be alot more content on the living landscapes because of the price, but there is about the same.
Buy it, enjoy it but don't expect the HD sampler to be the greatest movie of all time.
Well worth a few bucks This is a great vid to sample the quality of your new HD television. I enjoy watching it over and over again.
Just a sampler This is a sampler of individual movies you can buy I believe. For the reviewer that commented on the panning fireplace video, the actual Blu-ray disk has four different fires, one continual, one from match lighting to dying embers, a smaller romantic fire and, lastly, the one that appears to be sampled here where the view pans and zooms giving you the "best angles and shots".Fireplace: Visions of Tranquility [Blu-ray]
Better than buying the full version.. Sampler is pretty decent. better than buying the full versions of some of the ones out there. The down side--too many fad ins and outs. camera cuts are too fast.. would prefer if they just left the camera on a scene ( ie. fish) and let er go! Was hoping to use this as a background during parties.. music on the DVD is goofy..obviously better to put your own stuff on.. bottom line.. wait till other BluRay "back grounds" come out.
Terrible camera for HD Blu-ray quality I guess for the price it's CHEAP and I guess they used a CHEAP camera to do HD. Some shots looks as if it was done with a VHS camera, out of focus for most of the scene. It is not 1080p Blu-ray quality. Maybe the production was done with a VHS or mini DV and produced in a studio to bump up the final sequence. To use it as a sampler in a store to demo HD Blu-ray 1080p no customers would want to buy the TV or Blu-ray player. They would leave with an inaccurate concept of HD, or to understand the quality of 1080p realism.
