As a teen, Elvis and his friends would sneak into churches in the black neighborhoods to catch the lively music of a different musical heritage. Elvis Gospel CD The CD is a great overview of Elvis singing Gospel in his prime. Nobody does it better. His whole heart goes into each number, and the backup harmonies by the Jordanaires are beautiful.
Elvis No one can sing the gospel hymns like Elvis did. This is a wonderful cd and I really have enjoyed listening to it.
