Go Under The Sea With Aquamarine!!!! I just saw Aquamarine on YouTube and I thought that it was a great movie.I didn't see this movie in Theartes and I don't have this movie on DVD yet.Aquamarine is similar to the Little Mermaid that Aquamarine is about this young beautiful mermaid name Aquamarine she meets these 2 girls name Hailey and Claire that she be's friends with that they help Aquamarine find love when she fals for this human guy name Raymond so that in about 3 days to get him to say I Love You to her.This movie is very very cute and romantic for young girls and for teen girls to watch.I'm not a teenager myself that I'm 23 and I love this movie alot.I would love to own Aquamarine on DVD!!!!
ChickFlick for 12 yr old Daughter I don't count. I'm the Dad. So, my eyes rolling matched her pre-teen eyes rolling, but it's a cute movie. If you got to watch one of these with your pre-teen daughter, might as well be this one. She loved it, and has watched it several times. Once was enough for Dad. haha! But then, I'm "OLD".
*Good + Fun Movie* I think this is a cute little movie.I enjoyed it.It is nice to see movies with fantasy things in them,like a mermaid.It would be nice to see more movies like this.
Want a Sea-quel! Aquamarine is geared for pre-teens, but any mom who remembers being enchanted with mermaids will find this film a guilty pleasure. The story is somewhat of an homage to Splash, the mermaid blockbuster of the 80's. The same storyline is carried out as a siren lass falls in love with a man, and must keep her tail dry, or her secret will be revealed. Part of the Disney Little Mermaid story is also recycled, as Aquamarine is rebelling against her father.
In Aquamarine, two young friends are enjoying their last summer together. One girl is getting ready to move to Australia. They make a wish that she could stay. Suddenly, an ocean storm moves in. Washed up is their new friend, dippy, ditzy, sunny, and bold Aquamarine, as cute as can be. She falls fin-over-heels for the lifeguard that every girl is pining for, including the leader of a gang of bad girls.
Really cute, recommend to boy-crazy young girls and anyone who once wanted to be a mermaid.
