Fun for the whole family. I bought this game at the request of my 4 yr. old granddaughter. I thought she'd be upset playing it because she likes to win all the games we play. This game cannot be fixed for her to win and she loves it! I'm enjoying it also. I am happy that she has fun playing and is not worried about who wins. The game is simple to play and the best part is there are NO batteries to worry about.
Looked more fun than it was This isn't a bad game (I know, not much of a way to start a review!), but it looked like it was going to be more fun than it actually was. The strategy of the game isn't very challenging (coming from my 5- and 7-yr old sons) and that is the primary reason for the disappointment - you roll one die and move only a couple spaces at a time trying to get your marbles to the top of the board. On the positive side, it is fun when the die tells the player to release the big marbles to try to overturn the other marbles on the board. The game would be better if there was a bit more to the thinking in the game.
Fun for a short time. I purchased this game for my 4 year old for Christmas, and he enjoys it a lot. He will actually play with it by himself. My biggest problem is that the game pieces are marbles and we began loosing them right-away. while it is a fairly fun game if you're 4, it gets boring after a round or two if you're older. Definatly take the time to immediatly put the marbles in a baggy so that they don't roll away.
Lots of fun I just got this for my four year old nephew and he loves it! It's really easy to put together and it's even better because you don't need batteries, a rare thing these days. Out of all his presents this was the one he wanted to play first and it doesn't get old for him. A great present, I highly recommend it.
Great Game! This game is easy to use and great fun to play. The best thing is that there are no batteries required and no loud annoying noises come from the game! I would recommend it for the younger kids.
