Product Description: The Playmobil Child with Wheelchair is the set that depicts a common hospital sight! A great hospital accessory set, the Playmobil Child with Wheelchair comes complete with a mother and her unlucky little girl that has just left the doctor after receiving 2 casts. This poor little girl has casts on her arm and leg, as well as a bandage around her head - hopefully she gets well soon! With a wheelchair that rolls and features colorful fish designs on the wheels, the Playmobil Child with Wheelchair set will keep kids imaginations from taking a break - unlike this patient's bones!
Playmobile Wheelchair Review Overall a good toy that satisfied my daughters urges to care for a terminally ill child, I was particularly impressed by how much the playmobile cast plastic head made the child look as if it also had Downs syndrome.
I was a touch dissapointed in that both the model people had smiles on their faces, despite the fact that in a realistic childrens role play situation, with the child not only having a terminal mental illness, broken arm, leg and fractured skull - (and the mother having to watch what I can only assume from the content of the box her last remaining relative die of a terrible illness mixed with serious physical injuries,) that the facial configurations were not at least an agonising contortion on the part of the child, and possibly a why me, why again look of total desolation on the part of the mother.
Finally, although the toy gives a good representation of the difficulties faced by the wheelchair bound on a daily basis, for the complete learning experience may I suggest that playmobile include a child sized coffin and tombstone for the final act in a typical childs role play experience.
