Though kids will enjoy the bright whizz-bang action sequences of Chicken Little, discerning parents will find the movie tedious. Technically, it has the computer animation quality of Pixar--but with none of their intelligence, heart, or simple storytelling skill. The basic idea of connecting the fable to aliens is amusing, but the script routinely bogs down in clumsy father-son issues that seem like material edited out of Finding Nemo. The jokes rarely have anything to do with the characters, but are mostly pop-culture references that are sadly out of date. not a favorite This movie had its moments but on the whole was not a favorite. My 7 and 8 year olds just didn't go for it.
Disney's First All-CGI Film-A Review for Adults and Children Chicken Little is a good film. It is good mostly because it is short, and that's the truth. The film introduces the town and Chicken Little, proving he is nuts, with his "The Sky is Falling" claim. In a fun-loving twist of the wonderful tale from the Jataka Text, a collection of Indian-Buddhists writings, we learn that the sky, IS ACTUALLY falling...sort of. Chicken Little's widowed father slowly regains his faith in his child and the whole town realizes that there is a space invasion caused by panicked mother and father aliens who have lost their child(obvious, but sweet parental advice to be heard). The film ends.
And so you have a wonderfully short and wonderfully sweet animation film. Yes, the pop references for parents do seem dated, but they aren't that bad. Surely, children will love this film; the slapstick is there, the cute characters, the decent animation (not too great, just decent) and the quickness of pace.
For their first CGI produced and distributed film, things look promising for Disney again.

Chicken little is sweet! in blu-ray.It was the first blu-ray I got.With its 1080p pristiene piture and theater quality sound and nice bonus features it is EXALENT!.The alien Invaison game is fun and the bonus features are wonderful.(blu-ray movies can only be played on blu-ray players, blu-ray computers,and the PLAYSTAION 3.P.S. you should buy this.
