Amazon.com:
Transporter 2 knows what its audience wants and--like its title character--it delivers. This is a movie that has not only a fight choreographer but also a car stunt choreographer; a movie in which a female assassin wears nothing but a bra and panties because, presumably, additional clothing would be too cumbersome; a movie in which crashing through a concrete wall in order to leap over a four-lane street will not even rumple the hood of the hero's car; a movie in which a drunken supermodel, after her advances are chastely and gently rebuffed by the hero, says "Thanks for the respect--that's what I needed most"; a movie, in short, for those who liked the first Transporter but found it too subdued and character-driven. Jason Statham (The Italian Job) reprises his role as Frank Martin, a perhaps overly diligent chauffer who will break bones if his duty is impeded. The sheer glee with which Transporter 2 casts aside logic, probability, and the laws of physics is infectious. If the sequence in which Frank flips his car upside-down in order to detach the bomb attached to his undercarriage doesn't reduce you to intoxicated giggles, well...you're watching the wrong movie. Transporter 2 is utterly shameless, unstoppably ridiculous, and completely enjoyable. Also featuring Amber Valetta (Hitch), Jason Flemyng (Snatch), and Matthew Modine. --Bret Fetzer

4 out of 5 starsTransporter 2
Caught this on a visit to a relative. Liked the action. Good story line. Must be ready for some violence. Well acted. Some unreal stunts. Highly recommend to age 17 & up if you like "James Bond-Indiana Jones type action.

Transporter 2 DVD

In this sequel to The Transporter Jason Stratham is in Miami working as a chauffer/bodyguard for a wealthy family who springs into action when the young son of his client is kidnapped. The movie is full of high action car chases and stunts. Set in the beautiful Miami, Florida area, so again if you don't enjoy high action movies, just sit back and enjoy the view.
Highly recommended for fans of Jason Stratham , James Bond movies, and high action movies, especially car chases.

5 out of 5 starsFast Paced, Extraordinary Action Film: Jason Statham flicks are my cup of tea.
Jason Statham is a Bad A**. This guy is amazing. If his Fast Paced, Extraordinary abilities, and the intense Action of this film are not enough for you, wait until you see the "Bad Girl" of the film!

The super hot, Bad Girl is enough to make me switch sides, but The Transporter sticks to his guns. writing this makes me want to watch the film, again, so I can gander at the Bad Girl. She makes Evil look Sexy.

If The Transporter (Special Delivery Edition) and Transporter 2 get you juiced up, and you want more.... Try Crank (Widescreen Edition) !!!

Crank (Widescreen Edition) is like The Transporter Collection on...steroids. Crank is extremely fast paced, and may leave you breathless.

Jason Statham flicks are my cup of tea.

3 out of 5 starsA completely unnecessary over the top sequel
Rules are meant to be broken and it's very obvious here why. This is due to the fact that the rules of gravity are irrelevant in this sequel to the much better predecessor. Frank Martin A.K.A the transporter is back but this time he is a chauffer for a wealthy family's son, as a matter of fact a senator's son. In this movie the story is so unoriginal; everything is so similar to previous action movies. Take for example the plot revolving a lethal virus, if infected the individual will infect many others, and the only one that can stop it is the malevolent bad guy who started the virus in the first place and only he holds the anti-virus. This story is very reminiscent to that of mission impossible 2. The films plot isn't the only thing that has a problem but the action as well. As mentioned before there is no such thing as gravity in the movie. All of the fight sequences are over the top and really exaggerating. Nevertheless it is entertaining and Jason Statham gives a good performance once again but other than that it's a very inferior sequel with very little credibility.

MY PERSONAL RATING: 3 OUT OF 5

Not quite as good as the first movie but it still holds you attention.

The Blu-Ray version is awesome. Time to cease product of low-def DVD's and go Hi-Def only starting now. Only a person with no standards would watch a low-def movie when Hi-Def is available.

And now for mine: Only a person who likes to throw away money on Blu-Rays that come with no extras cannot be too smart.
