Product Description: With My Masterpiece, your original artwork is enlarged, printed on a variety of special mediums and placed into a real wooden frame. Or choose to have the artwork made into a Museum Poster - the choice is yours. The kit includes special Art Pages, watercolor markers, easy-to-follow instructions and a postage paid envelope for mailing in your drawing for production. Or send a photograph that can be sized to fit and format in a frame. You can also make your keepsake entirely online in an Internet Production facility using Internet drawing and/or photo tools. Both can be made in either Portrait or Landscape orientation.
In just a few short weeks when the professionally produced Framed Masterpiece or Museum Poster is returned, your young artist will experience a sense of accomplishment and pride like none other! The entire family can enjoy the attractively presented artwork for a lifetime.
For framed art, it can be enlarged to 11" x 14" and printed onto archival quality paper, simulated canvas, or, for an extra charge, real canvas. Frames are offered in red, blue, black, gold and natural stain and include a nameplate that features the artist name, artwork name and date. The Museum Poster is a large 24" x 18" and is printed on heavy glossy poster stock and includes the same artist information in three different exhibit styles. Many other exciting options are offered such as a Plexiglas cover for the frame and replication of photos in an oil painting or charcoal drawing format.
Extras can always be ordered utilizing different options and are a terrific way for Mom or Dad to decorate their office. Production time is approximately three weeks, and rush service is available.
Extra Charges I was curious when buying this kit if there would be any extra fees besides what I paid. I had bought a make a plate kit a few years ago and there were extra fees. There are extra fees. You will at least pay three dollars more for processing. The three dollars is for 4-5 week processing. If you want rush it is twenty dollars. There are many add on like plexiglass, different textures, extra copies, or have the drawing turned into a puzzle or a mousepad. I have not gotten my finish product in the mail yet. My child had fun making the artwork and we are having it sent to grandma. For the price I paid I have don't have a problem paying an extra small processing fee. I just think the mandatory three dollars should be in the listing as well as the timeframe espcially if people are giving this as a gift.
Great Gift This is a great gift for both the child and the parent. I love giving this gift when Im not sure what the child may already have and I dont want to give a gift card. The end product (after you mail it in)is professional and beautiful. It's also a priceless treasure.
