My 2yr old loves this toy My two year received this a few months ago and loves it. it is durable, easy to keep clean and keeps her entertained. if it wasnt for this she would be at the bathroom sink playing water making a water mess all over! my 5 yr old also will play this too, but doesnt hold the attention as long as my 2 yr old. would definately recommend.
Fun, imagination-oriented, creative outdoor play. Highly recommend! We've had the water table for a year now and our two boys (3 and 1) love it. It's one of their favorite things to do outside (I personally couldn't imagine having them use it inside because of all the splashing). They will literally spend hours playing with it -- my older son will act out his own version of 'Shark Tales' with little plastic fish from our beach toys. It's light enough to easily move around the yard, has held up just fine to heavy use, and is very easy to keep clean just by dumping the water out at the end of the day and occasionally wiping it out. We typically store it in our shed rather than leaving it outside full time. We haven't had any problems with the leaking others mention. As far as the waterwheel and the boats, I think they're perfectly fine. There's no need for the waterwheel to lock down, it's good motor skill practice for the kids to assemble it themselves and to learn to be gentle with it so it doesn't fall over. The boats get a lot of use, and our kids also bring other toys outside to play with in the table. We frequently comment that it's been one of the best toy investments we've made, and I love that it encourages such creative, imaginary play.
Grandson Our Grandson loves to play with this toy. It keeps him busy for hrs. He just turned 3. The only draw back is the dogs love to use it as a tall water bowl.
Purchase for my Grandson! I purchased the Water Wheel Play Table for my Grandson. I love hands on activity toys! He loves it. When he comes over it's one of the first things that he asks about. It keeps him occupied for a very long time.
Cute, but my kids weren't impressed I am certainly in the minority but this has been sitting in our backyard, rarely used. I can see how it would be fun but my 3 and 1 year old only had interest in it for about a week. I agree that the tower should hook into place. I also have a 5 year old and he has little or no interest. I'm thinking about putting sand in it to give that a try.
