The seller did not have the correct serial number ^ The dsk came and installed correctly, but when prompted for the serial number, the seller gave me an in correct number or the wrong number all together. I cannot use the product and I have no way to get a hold of the seller. I'm not happy about this purchase.
I Love PSE ^ I love Photoshop Elements and have upgraded to the newest version. I upgrade every other newer version to get the most for my money and get the newer tools and improvements. I use PSE all the time and love it.

Amazon Customer service ^ I Bought Adobe Photoshop Elements 3.0 from Amazon for the Windows Vista and i was sent the program for Macintosh. When I contacted Customer the employee informed me they only take my money and order it from a vendor. He refused to help he and informed me to contact the vendor. I needed this program for a class now i even lost the money I paid for the class (75.00). I would not even give AMAZON 1 star but it forces you to rate at least 1. Do Not buy from Amazon. At least when I bought from EBAY I get what i ordered and the ONLY time it wasn't what i paid for they returned my money and did not give me the run-a-round like AMAZON just did. If it says AMAZON Run !!!!!!!!!!!!
Great Product - better than 5.0 version? ^ I've used Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0, 3.0 and now 5.0. I found that the 3.0 version was generally easy to learn to use and could handle most of the problems and modifications that were needed with many of my digital photos.
Be aware that obviously none of the Elements series is meant to replace a full version of Photoshop. I use the full Photoshop on more difficult photo problems or those in which I need to be considerably more professional. But for me, the learning curve on Photoshop is often quite steep.
A couple of months ago, I bought the 5.0 version of Elements thinking it might give easier and faster access to some of the full Photoshop features. I found that it did not seem to give me all that much more utility than the 3.0 and it felt slower and a little less agile in moving from photo to photo. I must admit this may be due to my computer or my inability to appropriately adjust the 5.0 program based on the rather skimpy 5.0 user manual.
For the money and ease of use I think that the average amateur photographer would find the 3.0 most helpful.
