Great trilogy for Lord Of the Rings I read all the Lord of the Ring books before there were movies. Wonderful story. It's been a while since I read the books, but I do believe these 3 movies follow the books. So if you are into Hobbits and wizards, this movie trilogy would make a great item for your collection.
Dangel My life was put on hold while I read The Hobbit & The Trilogy 31 years ago. I refuse to watch movies that are continued so I waited until I could buy the set to watch it back to back. Everytime I saw it in the stores they were either separate or too expensive in the set. I was thrilled to find a reasonable price and such quick delivery. . . it should be a heck of a weekend!!
The Lord Of The Rings - The Motion Picture Trilogy (Widescreen Edition) The Lord of the Rings is one of my favorite movies. I read the books, but the movie bought the books alive for me. I saw the movie more times than I can count, it was that addictive. The characters were well written and the actors were superb. To name a few, Aragorn , Frodo, Sam and Legolas were awesome! You could feel the love that was put into each scene.
three nights of excitement My husband and I enjoyed the Rings trilogy at the theaters, but there was a whole year between flicks. It was great to watch the three movies three nights in a row. Six months from now we can do it again; meanwhile, our son and his wife are enjoying the show!
it can't compare its just the necessary for to live again the amazing story of Tolkien. Its a nice gift and its ok if you dont need to spend more. the price it can't compare with the fact to have this beautiful collection.
