Album Description: Taken from the influential & ground-breaking hip-hop DJ's 2002 album, The Private Press. Three non-LP tracks, 'Six Days' (Remix) feat. Mos Def, 'Six Days' (Original Version Radio Edit) & '100 Metre Dash'. Island.
Decent single This version only has 3 tracks on it, omitting the instrumental version of Six Days, which isn't so bad. (Without the weird vocals, the song just loses something, plus it's been extended, which makes the pace drag a bit). The radio edit is just what you'd expect, a shortened version. The remix with Mos Def once again brings out the Walkie Talkie/Treach Battle Beat background (a nice little running gag) while Mos Def raps over the track. This really only resembles the original by having the original vocals in it also. The 100 Metre Dash sing is decent, being a fast little tracks that would fit right in with a car chase scene in a movie, but is on the short side. This would worth getting if you don't absolutely need the instrumental.
