Paralleling the show's lovable pop culture tweaking, the musical styles here (the episode's musical conceit is a curse visited upon Buffy's hometown of Sunnydale) range from a patent footlight chorus of demons being interrupted by Gellar's hard-rocking stake thrusts on "Going Through the Motions" to Spike the Vampire's goth-metal complaint "Rest in Peace," with everything from parking tickets and mustard stain removal to climactic duels with the supernatural getting the Broadway send-up. Buffy the Vampire Slayer - Once More, With Feeling I love Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The kids and I would watch these epsodia just to dance around to the music. So, when I found out it was on cd I had to buy it.
Simply the best Truly my most listened to album of all time. I have it on my car cd changer and listen to it at least once a week and generally for no less than 3 times each. Simply the best ever and this from an almost 60 non musicale BTVS fan ( and ps you must also watch the actual episode if you haven't)
Oh, well... This Cd is alright...okay, it's awesome somehow. There are many good tracks, many funny ones and many crap ones as well. I love "Under Your Spell" by Amber Benson (Tara), she's talented, if you don't wanna buy the CD, just check out her song because it's good. The lyric is nice and all, I can definitely feel love here in this song, the video clip is also cute. Anthony's songs are good too, check them out. Sarah Michelle ain't that good at singing but she managed, so are the rest of the team. Don't like James Marsters' voice.
A must-have for Buffy fans "Once More, With Feeling" is one of the best episodes of the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and certainly the best episode of the sixth season. With both the lyrics and the score concocted by Buffy auteur Joss Whedon, this soundtrack will be on your mp3 player for years to come! Also, it has four bonus tracks, the theme from three different episodes (one of them being the excellent, emotion filled "Sacrifice" by Christophe Beck) as well as a working-tape version of "Something to Sing About".
Any self-respecting Buffy fan should own this album.
excellent This is the best soundtrack recording I have ever bought! It really brings back the episode for me every time I hear it and makes me smile. I probably would have just perfered an audio track of the entire episode, with dialogue, but this is great. If you are a OMWF episode fan or just a fan of the series get this you won't be dissapointed.
