Description: Always looking for action, five over-enthusiastic, but under-stimulated Vermont State Troopers raise hell on the highway, keeping motorists anxiously looking in their rear view mirrors. Between an ongoing feud with the local cops over whose you-know-what is bigger and the state government wanting to shut them down, the Super Troopers find themselves patrolling the boundaries of good taste as they hilariously and unwittingly skid towards solving the crime of their lives.
Buy right meow! A must buy! Has the best opening scene I have seen in a long time....
Stop Jumping On The Bed! Super Troopers is one of those movies that I like to pull off the shelf every month or so and watch it. To me, this fact makes it a classic. I simply can't get enough of this movie. I'm not so sure if this is an over the top hilarious movie throughout, but there is something about these characters playing the roles of cops that just works. Broken Lizard did a great job in this movie and I really like the energy they bring to the table. I think I love this movie so much because most of us spend our commutes hoping we don't get pulled over, so it's nice to watch a bunch of knuckleheads playing the roles of cops and we are able to laugh at them without getting a nightstick to the head. The story is mostly about the Highway Patrol and the local Police Department's rivalry. Jokes are played, fights happen, German's are pulled over and "held hostage", and of course booze and drugs are abundant. There's a nice love story that has it's funny moments, but the king of this movie for me is Farva... the over excited cop who just knows how to annoy everyone in his own special way. Farva steals this movie in my opinion. This is definitely a movie that everyone should own because just like Office Space you can watch this movie over and over again. 5 stars for these guys.
Meow! All right, so this is not a *great* movie. Maybe it's more of a minor cult classic. Having said that, it's worth the watch for the meow scene. I don't think I've laughed that hard watching a movie. Agreeing with other reviewers, it is a bit hit and miss, but when it's on, it's hilarious. Meow, go grab yourself some popcorn and you go watch this movie.
Funny Stuff IT's just good crude humor. It's worth checking out if you just need a good laugh
One of the funniest movies I've seen This is a hillarious movie and I've watched it over and over, and it still makes me laugh.
