Love the Dark Xena! As a big Xena fan I'm extremely happy to see new stories and I really enjoyed this one, plus volume 1. I think it is a bit funny that the writer/illustrators prefer Gabrielle with long hair and the old style costume, but who cares? I'm not a comic or graphic novel person but this story works well in this context. Can't wait for more!
Could be better These comics could be scripted better. If you'd never seen the series before, you'd be lost. If you're a loyal viewer, you'd might be slightly confused by the jumping storyline.
They tried to "not cater" toward the fanbase, but they really should have. I've already lost interest the comic books.
