the original concept of Spiderman It's a fun read to read Simon and Kirby's concept of a different type of Super-hero. I'm a bit partial as I read these back in 1959 and along with any Jack Kirby stuff I was elated. Now Kirby only stayed a few issues so this isn't a complete Kirby issue. But this concept ended up as the prototype of what Spiderman became. Thats according to Jack and Joe. It's a easy read and don't expect any Marvel pathos as this was before Marvel had their day. These issues were done for the same company that did Archie Andrews.Worth having for the Early Kirby issues excerpts . After Kirby left the air went out of this concept. But for the price , what have you got to lose ????
