Fun and very entertaining! When humans chance upon their hidden home, Cutter realizes that they will not be safe there forever. And so, He and Skywise set out to see if they can find any more tribes of elves. However, the world is more complicated than they thought, and far more dangerous than they had feared. And help will come from the most unlikely sources.
In 1978, Wendy and Richard Pini started self-publishing the Elfquest saga in comic book form. The rest, as they say, is history! This graphic novel contains the second five issues of Elfquest (6-10), and is quite an entertaining read. I really enjoyed the story (I love stories of elves and magic!), and thought that the illustration work was quite excellent. Some people have criticized the coloring, but I thought that it was quite good, a little bright like older comics, but that is what it is.
Overall, I found this to be a fun and very entertaining read, and I give it two thumbs up!
Beautiful, worth reading again for the graphics alone!!! When they released this new and "improved" version of the books I already had and cherished, I was skeptical. How much better could it be? But when curiosity finally got the better of me, I realized that by deepening the detail and enriching the color, the story was equally enhanced. I enjoyed reading these as much as I did the first time.
i love this book my husband has talked about these books for years and he finally got one for x-mas and read it in 2 days. it is awesome
A study in cartoon art Wendy Pini is indeed a great artist, and the story represented in the four Archives-series is beautiful and original. I have grown up with these stories, and will probably never get bored with the simple, yet original, sweet and exiting story, together with the lovely drawings of a seldomly talented hand. I recomend this series to people who like beauty and fantasy, together with simplicity and stories that captures you. It is also recomendable to children.
