Amazon.com Review: Patrick Stewart's one-man production of Dickens's A Christmas Carol played to sold-out audiences in New York and Los Angeles. In this studio recording based on those performances, Stewart is in rare form, using his considerable range of voices to play all roles, from the Ghost of Christmas past to Tiny Tim. It must be said that Stewart clearly enjoys playing Scrooge best of all--but isn't the villain always the most compelling character? Even if you feel that "every idiot who goes about with 'Merry Christmas' on his lips should be boiled with his own pudding and buried with a stake of holly through his heart," this rendition of Dickens's classic will get you in a Yuletide mood. The best My family and I have loved this beloved Christmas story for years. When we first heard Patrick Stewart perform this one man show we were hooked. He does a fabulous job with each character, making the story come to life for us. We love it so much that we have been giving it out as Christmas gifts to friends and family.
A Christmas Carol I loved reliving this story from my youth. Over the years there have been so many film adaptations of this story and it was nice to see it in its original form.
Another great review! This is one of the best performances of A Christmas Carol I've ever heard....highly recommended.
" God bless us everyone!" Charles Dicken's A Christmas Carol, forever old as well as new, arrived in a timely manner and in factory new condition. Thank you. I give you a five star rating. Earl Woodham
