The third book in the New York Times and Publishers Weekly bestselling Internet Girls series.
Through their instant messages, the “winsome threesome”—Angela, Zoe, and Maddie—have battled the ups and downs of high school. Now they’re seniors, ready to rule the school. Unfortunately, they also have to deal with queen bee Jana, who has it out for good girl Zoe. Not that Zoe, who’s deep in love with Doug, seems to notice. So it’s up to Angela and Maddie to defend their friend, engaging in a series of pranks that escalates at a senior prom that no one will forget, even if they want to!
The Internet Girls’ high school misadventures culminate in the third addition to Lauren Myracle’s wildly popular series, now joining ttyl and ttfn in paperback.
Excellent read, Stands on its own! I read the 2 previous books in this series and was thrilled to have read the third book. It is a fun "new age" read. It is a great idea to have a book about the ups and down in high school be in a IM forum. I read this book in one sitting. I must mention this book can stand on its own. You do not have to read the previous books to understand and appreciate L8r, g8r.
Surprised by Sex in this book-not for preTeen or early Teen I was shocked when my 12 year old showed me this book. I reviewed it and found several passages where the girls in the book are talking about sexual acts performed on boys. This is definitely not a book for young girls and I'm shocked that the author added this type of material to this book. I didn't find sexual acts in the first book, TTYL . . however, I'm going back to review it more closely.
See page 157-158 for Bj references, 86 for F*ing references, page 82 for c**k references, and so on.
I'm surprised that others are rating this book so high . . must be teen readers and not teen parents.
Don't buy this book for your young children. I'm not certain what a good age is for letting your kids read about sexual acts . . .
Perfect book for teens Bought this book for my 16 year old daughter - very cleverly written, perfect for teens who love to text! She's sharing the whole "internet friends" series with 2 other girls - nice books to share with your friends. They all loved the 3 book series.
Must Read Book!!!! Have you ever read a book that is all phone conversations and instant messaging? Well, L8r,G8r by Lauren Myrade is filled with it. This is a story about 3 best friends Maddie, Zoe, and Angela. They're seniors waiting to graduate. Their life revolves around high school drama and boys!
In this book Maddie, Zoe, and Angela are in the middle of revenge with Jana. Jana (aka) enemy is also a senior. She is trying to do all the wrong thins to Maddie, Zoe, and Angela. Good for them, they always get her back. Karma could come fast. As they go through high school fighting with Jana, the girls also have to get good grades and pay attention in school. They have a home life too, and parents can be tough.
Maddies parents are supporting her for getting accepted to a college that she doesn't even care about. Her parents take her out to diner, and she celebrates. On the other hand Angela gets accepted to a great college that she loves and her parents don't even care about it. There is more trouble, Zoe's Aunt is always busy with parties, but Zoes ok with the parties.
I recommend this book to 12 year old and up. This is the best teen book I ever read. If you can relate to the story you will never put this book down!
