Author's comment Due to the way the Amazon database is programmed (same title - same review!!!), some reviews get carried over from one edition to the next - even when the contents have undergone significant changes.
In the case of this particular book, any reviews dated before 2000 refer to the 1st edition (about 98 pages), reviews dated between 2000 and July 2006 usually refer to the 2nd edition (about 130+ pages), and reviews dated after July 2006 refer to the 3rd edition (150+ pages).
The changes in each edition include minor alterations to the existing text, but mainly consist of additional material.
Gone to a second edition This book was really interesting and useful, for me, but if you look on the UK site you will find a second edition version which has a lot more material in it (more than 20 extra pages) and still at the same price as the original!
