Product Description:
A world without cartoons? No way!

It's Monday again, and for Abigail, Jacob, Zack, and Bo, that means it's time-travel Day! This week the kids can't believe their luck: They're going to meet Walt Disney!

But when they jump back to the past, they discover that Mr. Disney wants to quit instead of making the first animated movie with sound. Abigail and her friends can't let that happen: Without his first movie, there wouldn't be all those other awesome Walt Disney movies or a Disney Channel on TV! But how can the kids get Mr. Disney to follow his dream -- and keep their mission top secret?

5 out of 5 starsI Loved Disney's Dream!
Disney's Dream was very good because I learned a lot about Walt Disney that I never knew before. I also liked it because the author was very good at describing Walt Disney's feelings. I recommend this book to people around the ages of 7-10 years old. I have read every book in the series and find they are an excellent and fun way to learn about history. The Blast to the Past books really bring the characters to life in an exciting way. I can't wait for the next book to be written so I can read it at once!

4 out of 5 starsDisney's Dream
Blast to the past Disney's Dream is a fabulous book by Stacia Deusch and Rhody Cohon, illustrated by David Wonzer. Disney's Dream is the second Blast to the Past book series. It is about four kids named Zack, Bo, Jacob and Abigail who time travel with their teacher using a computer cartridge with a picture on it to tell them where they are going in history, this books picture is Mickey Mouse, so they assume they are going to Walt Disney. Their teachers name is Mr. C and their job is to encourage important people in history who are giving up not to give up. The book is told from Abigail's point of view. In this story the teacher gets left behind because the kids do not wait for him! When they go they find they have arrived much too early! At the end of the book when they get back Mr. Caruthers (Mr. C) assigns them a five page essay on hopes and dreams because they should have learned all about them on their journey but mostly because they didn't wait for him.

What I like about this book is that is about a really well known and important person and not some important but less well known person. I also like that one of the characters has my name except it is spelled with a k instead of an h at the end even though he is not really like me at all.

I really enjoyed this book and highly recommend it to you. The first thing I liked that it was about a well known person. The next thing I like about is that it is an educational book. Last is that it can also be funny. Overall I think this is a really great book.

5 out of 5 starsMatthew's review
I liked Blast to the Past, Disney's Dream. It's about Mr. Disney quitting inventing Steamboat Willie, the first cartoon with sound. It was sort of funny when they were working on Steamboat Willie and the sound tube kept exploding. They took Mr. Disney to the future and he thought his partner made Snow White with color and sound but Mr. Disney really did it. I would recommend this good book.

5 out of 5 starsI Love Blast to the Past!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This book was great! It was very exciting, because it made me really think... What if Walt Disney did quit? With its good writing, this book makes learning fun. I recemond Disney's Dream to everyone, including adults. I can't wait to read all of the Blast to the Past books.
