Editorial Comments

Product Description:
With the same wicked humor, buoyant charm, and optimism that have made her Shopaholic novels beloved international bestsellers, Sophie Kinsella delivers a hilarious new novel and an unforgettable new character. Meet Emma Corrigan, a young woman with a huge heart, an irrepressible spirit, and a few little secrets:

Secrets from her mother:
I lost my virginity in the spare bedroom with Danny Nussbaum while Mum and Dad were downstairs watching Ben-Hur.
Sammy the goldfish in my parents’ kitchen is not the same goldfish that Mum gave me to look after when she and Dad were in Egypt.

Secrets from her boyfriend:
I weigh one hundred and twenty-eight pounds. Not one eighteen, like Connor thinks.
I’ve always thought Connor looks a bit like Ken. As in Barbie and Ken.

From her colleagues:
When Artemis really annoys me, I feed her plant orange juice. (Which is pretty much every day.) It was me who jammed the copier that time. In fact, all the times.

Secrets she wouldn’t share with anyone in the world:
My G-string is hurting me.
I have no idea what NATO stands for. Or even what it is.

Until she spills them all to a handsome stranger on a plane. At least, she thought he was a stranger.

But come Monday morning, Emma’s office is abuzz about the arrival of Jack Harper, the company’s elusive CEO. Suddenly Emma is face-to-face with the stranger from
the plane, a man who knows every single humiliating detail about her. Things couldn’t possibly get worse—Until they do.

5 out of 5 starsAnother Great Sophie Kinsella Novel!
Can You Keep A Secret? will keep you turning the pages. Sophie Kinsella creates another character that will make you laugh, cry, and even think "she did what?!"

It's worth a read! You won't want to keep it a secret!

5 out of 5 starsMY FAVORITE BOOK EVER!
I absolutely love this book. It was funny and relatable. I couldn't put this book down, the times I had to I couldn't stop thinking about when I could begin reading it again. You will not be dissapointed!

5 out of 5 starsAbsolutely wonderful!!!
I'm a big fan of Sophie Kinsella's work and have very much enjoyed several of her books. However, this one might be my favorite. I was immediately drawn into the story, laughed heartily throughout Emma's journey, and could hardly stand the suspense during the climax. What a fabulously fun read!

5 out of 5 starsLaugh Out Loud!
This was by far the funniest book I have ever read. I was laughing out loud throughout the whole book. I had read Kinsella's shopaholic series and decided to try her other books. I read this book in on sitting. I can't wait to finishing reading her other books.

3 out of 5 stars3.5 stars
Meet Emma....an average woman from London who is having a not-average day. Since the book has already been described here by other reviewers I'll explain why I gave it 3.5 stars.

Why I liked it:
I love humor in a book. I love all types of romance but I like it when a book makes me laugh. And Sophie kept my interest to the end. Lately, so many books I have read use the 'same-old, same-old' plots.

What I didn't like:
Sorry, I don't care for the *F* word. I just don't think it is necessary when I read a book. Once, well...twice, is it necessary, ...more,sorry you are losing me.... I also think Emma was just a bit too forgiving regarding Jemima and her co-workers.

But I enjoyed this book enough to try some of Sophie Kinsella's other titles.
