Now Dan has a new Bakugan ally: Drago, an awesome, gigantic dragon from the fire world of Pyrus. Drago's on a quest to save Vestroia…and discover the secret origin of the Bakugan!
comic book - good read for bakugan fans This book has a nice guide for characters in the beginning. Story moves fast, but drops too many details at times.
Buyers should know this is a comic book, not a chapter book ** I thought I was ordering a chapter book for my 9 year old son, but this is more like a comic book. All-color illustrations on every page are nice and my son seemed to enjoy the book. Just wasn't what I expected!
Let the Battle begin
The popular TV show/battle game comes to print via Random House and the Cartoon Network.
The Bakugan Battle Brawlers, Dan, Runo, Marucho, Julie, Shun, and Alice take on a battle far bigger than they first imagine. With the falling of the Bakugan cards, and the discovery that the throwing down of the cards unleashes a violent battle in two dimensions, a new game, Bakugan is created. Little do they know that more than a `game' is being played, and the appearance of their Bakugan unleashes forces in Vestroia, an alternate dimension. There, a power struggle between the six elements, Aquos, subterra, Haos, Ventus, Pyrus, and Darkus rages. The opening of a portal during a bakugan match on earth between Shuji and Dan corresponds to the escape of Naaga and a fate he cannot escape.
With images taken from the Nelvana production, Battle Brawlers is a great introduction to the world of Bakugan. The images are well chosen, and the resulting book is easy to follow and understand. I have watched bits and pieces of episodes, never understanding exactly what the show was about. With this `Bakugan Begins' episode, I know more.
For the bakugan fan in your family, Let the battle begin.
