Perfect for College-Level Beginners! I used this book for French 101. I took the class during the summer, so it was a bit hard to keep up (the book moves pretty quickly). However, if I had taken it during a normal semester, I think this book would be perfect for those in college. It may be a bit pricey, but I found it very helpful. There is a dictionary in the back for translations in english/french (both ways), so I didn't need to carry around a separate book for that.

This is a great tool for learning This set of textbook and workbook is a great tool to help you learn the French language. I find the book easy to follow. It has many great examples and exercises with lots of extra tid-bits and plenty of cultural info. I think this book is much better than the one I used in highschool. I have used this set for my 1st year of college French.
