Hellboy is such a nontraditional anti-genre movie, and because of that it plays like a breath of fresh air. Guillermo is such a unique director, and admire all of his films because he does not play into the hollywood style of action films. The sequel to the original Hellboy. Many reviewers said that this is not as good as the first one but I believe it is at least as good if not better. The monsters are great, the action is great, and the story is moving. It has all the elements of a great movie... more

From: Starz / Anchor Bay February 02, 2010
I am not here to review the 2 films. Both of which are excellent, especially Blood and Iron. I am here to tell you to avoid purchasing this disc. Unlike the Ultimate Avengers double feature which carried all from both discs. If you don't care for special features... more

This is heavy duty Hellboy action. It's a lot more gritty and gruesome than "Sword of Storms." It really touches on good vs. evil. One of the reasons I like Hellboy is because of the Catholic aspects. In this one there's a weak priest who doesn't stand up to evil at first. I'll say no more about that. I don't want to spoil it for you.
This one is more frightening than "Sword of Storms,"... more
