| 1. Godzilla |
| Starring: Matthew Broderick, Jean Reno, Maria Pitillo, Hank Azaria, Kevin Dunn Directed By: Roland Emmerich November 03, 1998
Ok so here goes nothing. I am a big fan of godzilla. most people love him or hate him, or think hes just a big pile of cheese. while yes the films can get cheesey and have over simple and over the top plots, godzilla has always been fun. Accept for Gojira witch to me is more of a tear jerking horror movie more like grave of the fire flies meets king kong. So loving the big G i made my dad take me to... more

| | 2. The Godzilla Collection |
| Starring: Yuriko Hoshi, Takashi Shimura November 20, 2007
I spent many Saturday afternoons enjoying these movies when growing up. I was absolutely addicted, to the TV edited versions. I was thrilled with included titles and original released films in both languages. The extras are great too, probably the first time that I watched all of the extras on a DVD. All of this really sets it apart as a true collectors set in my opinion. Very cool. more

| Starring: Akira Takarada, Akihiko Hirata, Takashi Shimura, Terry Morse September 05, 2006
Welcome again to another informative review for 'Exploitation Madness' by yours truly, Christopher William Koenig. Speaking as a movie fan, I have to honest in that Godzilla is one of my all-time favorite movie monsters. While many can complain the later films leaned close to the kiddie matinee fare, the original film that started it all is indeed the better feature. Don't get me wrong for I love the... more

| | 6. King Kong vs. Godzilla |
| Starring: Ichiro Arishima, Yu Fujiki, Mie Hama, Akihiko Hirata, Harry Holcombe September 15, 2009
One of the all-time classic monster duels comes to DVD--a beautiful print presented in anamorphic widescreen. Unlike the recent Sony and Media Blasters/Tokyo Shock releases of Toho classics, which include the original Japanese versions, this Universal release offers only the American version produced by John Beck in 1963 (Universal owns the rights, which frees them from having to wrangle with Toho... more

| | 7. Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla |
| Starring: Midori Hagio, Yoshikazu Kanou, Tsutomu Kitagawa, Hideki Matsui, Jun'ichi Mizuno March 23, 2004
Like the rest of the Millennium Godzilla series, Godzilla vs. MechaGodzilla offers a new origin for the "current" Godzilla, ignoring everything in the series except the original 1954 film. Godzilla appears less impressive than in the previous, very enjoyable Masaaki Tezuka outing, Godzilla vs. Megaguirus, the suit being overly bulky with a disproportionately small head. The new MechaGodzilla ("Kiryu")... more

Nearly fifty years after the first Godzilla laid waste to Tokyo, a new one rises from the sea--not merely a rampaging, radioactive prehistoric horror, but a demon animated by the souls of those killed in the Pacific during World War II. | | 10. Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla |
| Starring: Masaaki Daimon, Kazuya Aoyama, Reiko Tajima, Akihiko Hirata, Hiromi Matsush*ta Directed By: Jun Fukuda October 19, 2004
The first of Godzilla's romps with his mechanized counterpart, the original Godzilla vs. MechaGodzilla centers on--surprise!--space aliens bent on conquering the earth. These fellows look as if they stepped out of an amateur Planet of the Apes costume contest, but MechaGodzilla himself is one of Toho's most impressive beasties. The Sony DVD features a beautiful widescreen presentation, with a choice... more
