This collection did not measure up very well at all with the stories in the series. I was disappointed. Not to mention the fact that there were quite a few proofreading errors that should have been caught that detracted from the stories... more

A bargain at double the price, this book collects all the Lester Dent written Doc Savage radio shows. Unfortunately the recordings of these shows did not survive but for any Doc Savage fan wishing Dent had written more adventures this book is extremely satisfying. The Larkin cover is excellent and the mini adventures are great fun. Moonstone has put togther THE Doc Savage radio book. Highly recommended... more

I find TALES OF ZORRO to be an excellent collection of new stories about this beloved character. Most of Jonston McCulley's original Zorro stories -- other than his first, The Mark of Zorro -- are nigh impossible to find, so this new collection is both welcome and wonderful. i have always enjoyed lee falks hero the phantom. it is nice to see many writers views on this character. there are 17 short stories and i enjoyed every one of them. it is good to see even though lee falk is no longer with us,his hero is still kept alive. thank you.

Before you buy this, you should know, it is a comic book. I think it is referred to as a graphic novel but I missed that in the description and was very surprised to find little text. The stories are reasonable but if you are in the mood to settle down with a good story, forget it, it's very disconcerting to read. ... more
