By: Joss Whedon, Jane Espenson, Steven S. DeKnight, Drew Z. Greenberg, Jim Krueger, Doug Petrie Publisher: Dark Horse Comics October 07, 2009
This arc felt like a filler to me. The main plotline slowly moves on but everything seems to fall apart far too quickly for the slayers. There are some funny moments in it but there is far too much Andrew in this storyline. At least we know where Giles & Faith are. Otherwise it's an ok book but that's about all it is... more

| 4. Creepy Archives Volume 5 |
|
By: Various By: Various Publisher: Dark Horse January 13, 2010
The reprints were needed as Warren was having money trouble at this time. The reprints filled in the area that would have been blank. At around issue 30 of CREEPY the reprints stop and the stories start to mature more. More blood and guts and a little later even the curse words like $&!% and %*(#$$** were actually spelled out. Then a little later a little nudity nothing nasty but added to the story... more

By: Various By: Various Publisher: Dark Horse November 25, 2009
It's eerie...but my copy of this book arrived with the cover embossment done upside down. Even so, the inside is intact and complete. I just flipped the dust cover and you can't tell the difference. I have purchased the first three of the Creepy Archives as well as Volume 1 of the Eerie Archives (all of which were printed upside right). As other reviewers have written, these volumes are very well... more

By: Joss Whedon Publisher: Dark Horse Comics September 26, 2008
Firefly was one of the best sleeper television shows ever. It was canned before it really had a chance, another example of network abuse of a very good television series. The follow-up movie, Serenity, lived up to all expectations and more. There is a reason SyFy lists it at a "four star" movie. It earned the kudos.
If you're looking for a comic book version of Firefly, this should... more

Joss Whedon brings Buffy Summers back to life (again) with Season 8 of the cult TV hit--exclusively in the comics aisle.
