| 1. Conan Volume 7: Cimmeria (Conan (Graphic Novels)) |
| By: Timothy Truman Publisher: Dark Horse July 01, 2009
This is the first of the Dark Horse relaunch of the Conan franchise I've read. I was a fan when Savage Sword was in its heyday, but lost interest sometime in the eighties. Browsing some of the earlier Busiek/Nord collections, they never seemed to beckon me to read them like this one did. I enjoyed the art, and was a longtime fan of Tim Truman's. It was worth a shot. And Crom, was I delighted with the... more

| | 3. Star Wars Omnibus: Menace Revealed |
| By: Davide Fabbri, Timothy Truman, Haden Blackman, Ryder Windham Publisher: Titan Books Ltd September 25, 2009
This is the largest and, as the title would indicate, best Star Wars Omnibus yet! Even though I still had a couple of the story arcs collected in it, there was more than enough new content to justify its purchase. Also included are the four promotional Hasbro comics printed in 2002, based loosely on Attack of the Clones to promote Hasbro's new line of action figures... more

| | 4. Wild Cards XVI - Deuces Down (Vol 5) |
| By: Stephen Leigh, John J. Miller Publisher: I Books June 25, 2002
Another good instalment in the Wild Card series, even if much delayed. Focusing on aces with powers of seemingly little consequence, some of whom are jokers as well, this book is a little more upbeat, or even lighthearted at times.
Plenty of aces make cameos, even Cameo, not to mention Demise. So lots of old favorites are around. Peregrine's son, also, as a teenager.
Fidel... more

| | 6. Star Wars: Bounty Hunters |
| By: Andy Mangels, Timothy Truman, Randy Stradley, Mark Schultz Publisher: Dark Horse November 07, 2000
I own over 30 Star Wars Trade Paperback Comic collections, and I find myself coming back to this one time and time again. Is it the best? No. But the art is good, and the subject matter is great. I really enjoyed Kenix Kil's character, as well as the Aurra Sing and Boba Fett stories. Overall, highly recommended!... more

I really enjoyed this book, more so than the others I've read so far. The plot was intriguing, the art was outstanding. I like the character development. It was simply a fun read... more
