| 1. Kin (The Good Neighbors, Book 1) |
|
By: Holly Black, Ted Naifeh Publisher: GRAPHIX October 01, 2008
This is the first book in series of graphic novels called "The Good Neighbors" by Holly Black and Ted Naifeh. Looks like right now there are going to be three books. The second one is called "Kith" and it is already out. The third will be called "Kind" and will be out in 2010. I enjoyed this graphic novel a lot. Both the artwork and the story are very engaging.

| 2. Courtney Crumrin Volume 4: Courtney Crumrin's Monstrous Holiday (Courtney Crumrin (Graphic Novels)) (v. 4) |
|
By: Ted Naifeh Publisher: Oni Press April 01, 2009
When I purchased this I was under the mistaken impression that it was a new story but it turns out to be a collection of previously-released volumes of Courtney's travels with her warlock guardian. I loved the stories but was disappointed in this collection simply because I already owned them in individual form. When I purchased it the description given didn't mention the fact that this is a collection... more

|
By: Ted Naifeh By: Ted Naifeh Publisher: Oni Press September 24, 2003
Courtney Crumrin... dear lovers of magical graphic novels, ... is simply wonderful. She reminds us a bit in disposition of Emily the Strange. She is charming despite her near permanent scowl, and we love stories about magic. The art is great and we so wish we could live in the house she inhabits with her warlock Uncle A. In this story, Courtney takes on the local magicians in an effort... more

I wasn't quite sure if this book was going to be good or not when i bought it, but the artwork was just so awesome i had to. When i got it i read it in one sitting. That's how good it was. It pulled me in on the first page, and i just couldn't stop reading. I ended up loving all of the characters...even the mean ones. All in all i love this book and i love the second one as well. I am really glad i... more

| 8. Gloom Cookie, Vol. 1 (v. 1) |
|
By: Serena Valentino, Ted Naifeh Publisher: SLG Publishing January 26, 2001
I picked this series up because it was recommended to me. I loved this book & it's artwork. The characters were cute, but at times I felt like the stories were a bit too fragmented. The storyline was very clear & linear, but at times I felt like the artists could have spent just a teensy bit more time filling in the blank spots between stories. There are parts to the story that just could have... more

Courtney Crumrin - comicdom's premiere pint-sized curmedgeon - and her uncle Aloysius continue their European travels in this tale that takes the duo to Germany and into the history of the Crumrin (or Krumrhein) family, and into some of the darker territory the books have yet explored, as both the horrors of vampirism and the internal, more personal horrors - disillusionment, fear and depression... more

| 10. Alabaster |
|
By: Caitlin Kiernan, Ted Naifeh Publisher: Far Territories May 14, 2009
Alabaster collects five works of Kiernan's short fiction, all centered on her character Dancy Flammarion, first introduced in her novel Threshold. (Note that I'd never read any of Kiernan's work before this, so this collection clearly stands well on its own.) Dancy is an orphaned, albino girl who seeks out and kills monsters on the command of a terrifying angel. Each of the stories records her encounter... more
