| 1. Transformers: All Hail Megatron Volume 4 |
| By: Simon Furman, Mike Costa, Shane McCarthy, Andy Schmidt, Nick Roche, Denton J. Tipton, Zander Cannon, Don Figueroa, Chee, Emiliano Santalucia, Andrew Griffith, Casey Coller, Guido Guidi By: Nick Roche Publisher: IDW Publishing January 27, 2010
Enough said really. I'm not exactly sure why they slapped the "All Hail Megatron" title on there. It's essentially just another spotlight collection that ties up all the loose ends in the previous arc and sets it up for the next one.
As far as the actually stories go, they're not bad. They don't blow me away but they definitely aren't horrible.
Really, unless you are a completest... more

| | 2. Annihilation, Book 2 (Marvel Comics) (Bk. 2) |
| By: Keith Giffen, Javier Grillo-Marxuach, Simon Furman, Renato Arlem, Jorge Lucas, Greg Titus Publisher: Marvel Comics November 28, 2007
I really enjoyed the first Annihilation trade but this collection almost seemed pointless. The three different stories all seemed like they didn't really fit into the overall story. If anything they were afterthoughts and shouldn't have been collected as "Part 2" of the whole when they really aren't. The art of the Super-Skrull story, while not bad, didn't fit with the story at all. Overall, this... more

| | 5. Transformers: War Within Omnibus |
| By: Simon Furman, Don Figueroa Publisher: IDW Publishing February 25, 2009
This omnibus contains the two mini-series; "The War Within" and "War Within: The Dark Ages", originally produced by Dreamwave. Story wise, it ends on a hanging note that was partially continued in "War Within: The Age of Wrath". Because the company went out of business, "The Age of Wrath" was never finished and can only be found in individual issues. If you're lucky.
But don't let that... more

| | 9. The Transformers: Spotlight, Vol. 1 |
| By: Simon Furman, Robby Musso, Nick Roche, M. D. Bright, Rob Ruffolo Publisher: IDW Publishing May 30, 2007
My first exposure to Transformers comics came a few years ago, with Dreamwave's G1 series, but I've been a fan since I was 8. I have basically the entire line of RiD figures, as well as a healthy smattering of Armada, Energon, and Cybertron figures.
Anyway, I've gotten back into comics in a big way over this last year, and IDW's TF series has been a big reason for that. I LOVED Infiltration... more

| | 10. The Transformers: Spotlight, Vol. 2 |
| By: Simon Furman, Stuart Moore, Nick Roche, Don Figueroa, Guido Guidi, Marcelo Matere, Robby Musso By: Nick Roche Publisher: IDW Publishing February 29, 2008
This is a good collection of one shot "character spotlights" in the IDW Transformers universe. Yes, Optimus Prime appears in a solo story and it is OK. I'm not a fan of the villian in this story, but once you understand the supporting characters, it kinda makes sense...
Soundwave's story is great. Kinda ironic towrds the end, too...
Kup's story is very different and fun, too... more
