| 1. Green Lantern: Tales of the Sinestro Corps |
| By: Ron Marz, Geoff Johns, Sterling Gates, Alan Burnett Publisher: DC Comics July 08, 2008
This book must have at one side "Sinestro Corps War COMPANION". It tells a few storys of some Sinestro Corps members and how they got their fame and ergo the sinestro yellow ring. Besides it gives some (little) background to a few GL Corps members, fallen Lanterns and places in OA.
This book is not absolutely necessary to get the Sinestro Corps War saga, but it asnwer a few couple of... more

| | 2. DC vs. Marvel Comics |
| By: Ron Marz, Peter David, Bob Kahan Publisher: DC Comics September 01, 1996
Well, this is what you get when you leave storylines to popular votes. I recall years back in the mid-90s some low IQ marketer had voting controls installed on the theatre seats at the Emerville Century Cinema theatre. It was an experiment designed to see if people wanted to dictate the outcome of a movie. It was "interactive entertainment".
It was something not done with a true vision... more

| By: Ian Edginton, Paul Jenkins, Geoff Johns, Ron Marz, David Wohl, Keu Cha, Michael Choi, Francis Manapul Publisher: Top Cow Productions/Image Comics April 29, 2009
I really want to like this book, seriously, but it was way to inconsistent, and way to simplistic for most of the 50 issues.
For one i do not buy a comic book just because it has skimpy outfitted women half naked, and sometimes way to overdrawn boobies. The first 30 issues were difficult to get through only because they were mostly terrible and so simple that only a kid that's easily entertained... more

I was completely unsatisfied with the dealer here. My order was canceled without my say and with no reason given. That was ridiculous... more

| | 6. Amalgam Age of Comics: The DC Collection |
| By: John Byrne, D. G. Chichester, Ron Marz, et al Publisher: Titan Books Ltd November 01, 1996
if you love marvel, and if you love dc, this is something that you got to add to your collection, in this cross over that occurred during the marvel vs dc event, both universes unite to create only one amalgamated universe, with characters who are "amalgams" of two or more characters from both universes, in order for you to really enjoy this collection of hypothetical titles you should be a fan of... more

| | 7. Witchblade Volume 6 (Witchblade (Image Comics)) |
| By: Ron Marz, Stjepan Sejic Publisher: Top Cow Productions/Image Comics July 08, 2009
WITCHBLADE Vol. 6 collects #116-120 of the series, only five issues, yeah, but this TPB is bolstered with 30+ pages consisting of a cover gallery, Stjepan Sejic's sketchbook, and Ron Marz's each page commentary for issue #116. This bunch of issues comes on the heels of the FIRST BORN arc and finds tough-as-nails NYPD homicide detective Sara Pezzini coming off her maternity leave, now balancing motherhood... more

| By: Ron Marz, Stjepan Sejic, Luke Ross, Steve Sadowski, Rick Leonardi, Kevin Nowlan, Sami Basri Publisher: Top Cow Productions/Image Comics July 29, 2008
I'm not that terribly familiar anymore with WITCHBLADE or, come to think of it, a lot of the other Top Cow titles. Regarding WITCHBLADE's mythology, I know that the Witchblade itself is a tremendously powerful supernatural artifact wielded by NYPD homicide detective Sara Pezzini, and that this is a very dark comic book series.
In fact, the Witchblade is ridiculously ancient and sentient... more

| By: Jeremy Barlow, Ron Marz, Brandon Badeaux, Jeff Johnson, Joe Corroney, Adriana Melo, Nicola Scott Publisher: Dark Horse February 01, 2006
Proving that not everyone looks for the same things in their reading choices, I actually enjoyed the third story best of the three collected here. Comic books in general are just fun reading for me--the palate cleansers between other readings--and these really fit the bill.
I really enjoy these large editions of Dark Horse's Empire series. They're reasonably priced and make for a good... more

| | 10. Green Lantern: Emerald Twilight |
| By: Ron Marz Publisher: DC Comics 1994-03
I have not been a Green Lantern fan for very long, though I've read a lot of stories with him in it, and I have a very good idea of his personality. It's talked about a lot in the story about how many times he's gone against the Guardians, and now after coast city is destroyed, after everything he loves and cares about is destroyed, you think that wouldn't make him a bit angry? And after his attempt... more
