The best way I can describe this series is it reminds me of what the tv show ELLEN might look like if drawn in the style of DOONESBURY. But I think the writing here is a LOT funnier. The inter-personal relationships struck me as a bit more complex and confusing that those in John Blackburn's Coley novel, BREATHLESS-- but that just means I need to go re-read it again.
