The first 300 pages of this collection are absolutely painful to read. Groan-inducing dialog, uninteresting villains and boring stories that drag on for 23 pages each. I almost gave up. A trip down memory lane...a costly one, but an enjoyable one for anyone who grew up in the 60's like I did, with a weekly menu of great TV shows to look forward to. There was nothing I enjoyed quite as much as the shows created and produced by Irwin Allen, and Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea was certainly his most successful.

This book contains dozens of stories from Batman, Detective, and World's Finest comics that have Robin either off on his own or teamed with Batman, Batgirl, Jimmy Olsen, or a host of others. I like the stories, but for some reason, they seem second-tier to Batman stories, although I would imagine that was the intended idea.
