"Darkness calls" is a tough book. Here Hellboy engages in a grand fight against "Koshchei the Deathless". The fight takes place in no other than hell. And Koshchei is literally deathless (and we find Hellboy is too). Mignola's mingleling with mythology is facinating. When I bought Hellboy vol. 1, some of the pages started falling out. I thought this might have just been me, but when I went to check the review for it, I noticed a few other people were complaining about faulty glue in the binding.
