| 1. Aliens Omnibus Volume 6 (v. 6) |
| By: Mark Schultz, Chuck Dixon, Ian Edginton, Others, Doug Wheatley, Gene Colan, Eduardo Risso By: Others Publisher: Dark Horse February 11, 2009
Worth it just for the story "Glass Corridor", one of the best Aliens stories that I have read yet. Very interesting art style in this story too.
This volume also includes great stories, such as : Apocalypse, Border Lines, Elder Gods (which has an amusing Lovecraft gag running through it), stalker, and Wraith. There are some other OK stories too, such as Pig and Purge.

| | 3. Hammer Of The Gods Volume 1: Mortal Enemy |
| By: Michael Avon Oeming, Mark Wheatley By: Michael Avon Oeming Publisher: IDW Publishing October 28, 2009
"Hammer of the Gods" is stylish, operatic yet irreverent, sometimes reminiscent of the best bits of "Samurai Jack" in its terse, poignant storytelling and art, true to its roots in ancient Norse legend, well-written and composed... Michael Oeming and Mark Wheatley have outdone themselves in all aspects. It's ahead of its time... more

| | 5. Aliens: Apocalypse - Destroying Angels |
| By: Mark Schultz, Doug Wheatley Publisher: Dark Horse October 20, 1999
Aliens: Apocalypse Graphic Novel Review
Grade: B+
Aliens: Apocalypse just about has it all. The art is excellent, (a lot better than recent Aliens titles, that's for sure!) and is illustrated by the incomparable Mark Schultz. The script is good, (I only dropped the grade from an A to a B+ because it sometimes lags with the dialogue) and actually answers the question I'd... more

| | 6. Gray Morrow Visionary |
| By: Mark Wheatley, Allan Gross, Gray Morrow Publisher: Insight Studios Group August 22, 2001
I first saw Gray Morrow's art in Creepy magazine in '66. He was one of their top artists, along with Frank Frazetta, Jack Davis, Al Williamson, Reed Crandall, and Angelo Torres. Some of Morrow's drawings and paintings from that era are reprinted here as well as much other work I had not seen. He was a better (and more versatile) artist than I realized, since his paintings for Creepy were not quite... more

| | 7. Frankenstein Mobster Book 1: Made Man |
| By: Mark Wheatley By: Mark Wheatley Publisher: IDW Publishing November 04, 2009
Frankenstein Mobster is an all around great comic. The story is witty and entertaining, and the art is some of the best out there. Mark Wheatly hits the bullseye with this one. He managed to create a universe that keeps me wanting to see more. It has a great old school feel to it from the inking to the pulpy variant covers. I read a ton of comics, and this still ranks in my top 5. I was saddened to... more

| By: Mark Wheatley, Marc Hempel, Bob Kahan Publisher: DC Comics 1994-12
I am a rabid comic book fan and I love this one in particular. The central character, Chase Darrow, is one of the most underrated characters in comic book history. She's basically the sci-fi equivelent of a succubus, the mythological female demon who destroys men thru sex. The only difference is, Chase Darrow doesn't take any pleasure in what she is, in fact, she sees her uncontrollable supernatural... more
