| By: Jerry Ordway, Louise Simonson, Roger Stern, Dan Jurgens Publisher: San Val 2008-03

In a similar fashion, the death of Superman brought thousands upon thousands of new readers to the genre since Superman had become an American cultural icon. While short lived, this collection of comics represents a turning point in the comic industry, where no superhero was safe any longer. Shortly thereafter... more

| | 3. X-Men: Mutant Massacre |
| By: Chris Claremont, Louise Simonson, Walter Simonson Publisher: Marvel Comics January 06, 2010
First, the quality of the product. Very nice oversized binding. Great dustjacket with great cover by Romita Jr and back by Alan Davis. Has some great shelf appeal, although I'm not sure why they went with military style stencils for the title. I am old enough that I collected the individual issues that make up this collection that tells the story of the Mutant Massacre. I remember the build... more

| By: Chris Claremont, Louise Simonson Publisher: Marvel Entertainment Group 2002-02
Great old school classic X-men. Written and drawn with great skill that brings you back to the times when the X-men stories were the best. I first read this in 1990 when I borrowed it from my friend. I was blown away and read it many times. Now almost 20 years later, I went and bought it and it is still a good read . ... more

| By: Chris Claremont, Louise Simonson, John Byrne, Marc Silvestri, Bret Blevins, Walter Simonson, Jon Bogdanove By: John Byrne Publisher: Marvel Comics July 01, 2009
Really? An easter egg shaped woman who steals babies into a spaceship and a annoying little boy who turns his wheelchair into a spaceships, cars and computers with the aid of a trachcan. For every page of interesting character motives we get 3 pages of crap. I sold this garbage the day after I finished it... more

Well this book takes me back. When I was still collecting comics, Venom appeared on the scene, and instantly became a classic villain--perhaps _the_ Spider-Man villain. The whole early saga is here, and boy, remember the hair?... more

I bought this book for the X Men. If i wanted to see X Factor or Thor then I would probably have bought X Factor or Thor. Despite the unnecessary tie ins it doesn't take away from the quality of the book and still makes it enjoyable. ... more
