| | 2. Hulk: Green Hulk/Red Hulk HC (Incredible Hulk) |
| By: Jeph Loeb, Ed McGuinness, Arthur Adams, Frank Cho Publisher: Marvel Comics December 09, 2009
I know some people have been giving Red Hulk books bad reviews, but I love it and can't wait for the Fall of the Hulks, and then World War Hulks! I like the mystery of "Who is Rulk"? I think it takes us on a different reading path as opposed to the same old villains and storylines. After Planet Hulk and World War Hulk, this is a very entertaining and fresh continuation of Hulk's story, and the... more

| | 3. New Avengers, Vol. 2 (v. 2) |
| By: Brian Michael Bendis Publisher: Marvel Comics April 30, 2008
Once again this collection is important because it both precedes Marvel's Civil War and follows the previous Avengers team that was disassembled. See my review for Volume One for the Marvel Modern History time-line and you can will see this fits in right before Civil War.
This collection continues where Volume One left off. The artwork is once again top-notch and the full page shots once... more

| | 5. Hulk, Vol. 2: Red & Green |
| By: Jeph Loeb, Arthur Adams, Frank Cho Publisher: Marvel Comics May 13, 2009
I can't ask for more. Like the first Red Hulk book, it was a fun, fast-paced read with great art. I'm a huge fan of the Long Halloween and other Loeb-Sale Batbooks and I'm an even bigger fan of Loeb after this series. The guy just writes fun stuff. He`s not one of those writers that feel a need to prove themselves, to show off their `skills' with pages and pages of dialogue and talking heads... more

| | 6. Art Of Top Cow Hardcover |
| By: Top Cow Productions, Chris Bachalo, Eric Basaldua, Michael Broussard, Keu Cha, Frank Cho, Mike Choi, Terry Dodson, David Finch, Gary Frank, Randy Green, Tyler Kirkham, Greg Land, David Mack, Francis Manapul, Adriana Melo Publisher: Top Cow Productions/Image Comics September 16, 2009
This is how an Comic Art Book should be done! I have been very disappointed by similar releases by Marvel where they only scanned the cover of a comic and not shown us the (and this is the phrase) virgin images (sans logos, text, bar codes, etc). This amazing over sized (and very heavy) book is filled with images from all of their major books, and several of their minor ones.
The... more

| | 7. Jungle Girl Volume 2 HC |
| By: Doug Murray, Frank Cho, Adriano Batista By: Frank Cho Publisher: Dynamite Entertainment November 18, 2009
Frank Cho understands the need and market for jungle girl cheesecake wrapped in pulp storylines. His first graphic novel about Jana, the remarkable and death-defying princess of an unknown island wilderness teeming with dinosaurs and other fantastic creatures, was an absolute blast. He and co-conspirators Doug Murray and Adriano Batista knock another season out of the park with this latest offering... more

| | 8. Jungle Girl HC |
| By: Doug Murray, Frank Cho Publisher: Dynamite Entertainment January 01, 2009
This Comic book has good Artwork, and descent action. The storytelling is fast paced. However the dialogue lacks that certain degree of intellect that grips and pulls you into the Jungle Girl world. Maybe "intellect" isn't the right word, but it's what comes to mind. 4 out of 5 stars! This one has more potential than it shows, and what it shows isn't bad at all. Can't wait for part 2!... more

| | 9. Liberty Meadows 10th Anniversary Edition (Bk. 1) |
| By: Frank Cho By: Frank Cho Publisher: Image Comics March 19, 2008
Before its voluntary departure from the Washington Post, "Liberty Meadows" had gained a loyal following that brought it back from possible cancellation more than once. In a sea of snippy animals and dysfunctional families, Frank Cho's strip brought us something fresh and original: Complete madness.
But in case readers weren't lucky enough to catch Cho's strip initially, it has been... more

| | 10. New Avengers Vol. 3: Secrets and Lies |
| By: Brian Michael Bendis, David Finch, Frank Cho Publisher: Marvel Comics March 15, 2006
I have to admit, Frank Cho's pencils on Spider-Woman in this graphic novel are absolutely eye-popping. No one has ever drawn a sexier looking superhero. Spider-Woman just glistens with menace. Brian Michael Bendis outdoes himself with subterfuge in this one. Is Spider-Woman a double agent? A triple agent? Or something so complex readers may never know? One thing for sure, she's being totally... more
