The Executioner #376 written by Michael Newton is one of the better reads concerning recent Mack Bolan novels. I especially enjoy the Bolan saga when they begin with a covert parachute drop. Jumping from Jack Grimaldi's plane, Bolan is out the door into a slip stream of cold air falling downward toward a "hair pin" shaped river. Looking at his right wrist altimeter, Bolan pulls the ripcord... more

To say that I was raised with Mack Bolan is essentially true. My parents encouraged me to read when I was young and along with Ian Fleming, Don Pendleton was a writer I sought out. I remember my father worked as the superintendent of several housing developments in the Washington DC area, and when he came home on the weekends, he would bring Executioners.
I started picking up and reading... more

Welcome to The Executioner/Mack Bolan book #369 written by author Phil Elmore, author of 3 other Mack Bolan books: 346, 352, and 358.
I give the author great credit for a well written book concerning pirates in Java and Indonesia, espescially in the city Semarang. Also involved in the plot is an acidic compound called Theta-Seven, a chemical product originated by Saudia... more

Mack Bolan #370, September, 2009, was written by Mike Linaker, a writer who has written 3 dozen or more books for GOLD EAGLE books since 1988. With this book he has given us one of the better recent Mack Bolan/Executioner novels.
Initially I did not care for the format of the book, however, after a few chapter's read that offered no problem and I began to adjust, even enjoying... more

Overall, a decent effort. Chuck Rogers delivers a good plot (maybe overly ambitious for a 188 page book), and a great cast of supporting characters. The Puerto Rican cops in particular are fleshed out and three-dimensional. I'd like to see them appear in future books. Unfortunately, the Big Man himself is a two-dimensional cardboard cutout in this story. He is just a generic agent guy, giving... more
