| 1. Tomb Of Dracula Omnibus Volume 1 HC Variant (v. 1) |
| By: Gerry Conway, Archie Goodwin, Gardner F. Fox, Marv Wolfman, Chris Claremont, David Kraft, Gene Colan, Mike Ploog, Don Heck, Virgilio Redondo Publisher: Marvel Comics November 26, 2008
I love the Stan Lee omnibuses, especially Silver Surfer and Uncanny Xmen Chris Claremont from 1975- so I picked this up to see how the Dracula series was. It was very enjoyable the first 7 issues with those classic writers, then Wolfman takes over. He's good but never really went to the edge of excitement with the idea, but there are some creepy issues. I look forward to the 2nd omnibus where Dracula... more

This is a great book! I am a big comic book fan. I love how big it is. The artwork is GREAT the story is awesome.
Yes it is full color. It's in a very handsome hard-cover. I lost the dustcover for mine :(. Actually never got to see it(though this was not Amazon's fault at all).
A bit pricy but I don't care abiout that. This book is going in my collection... more

| | 3. Essential Avengers Volume 7 TPB |
| By: Steve Englehart, Tony Isabella, Scott Edelman, Gerry Conway, Jim Shooter, Bill Mantlo, Stan Lee, George Perez, Don Heck, Keith Pollard, Joe Sinnott, John Buscema, Sal Buscema, Pablo Marcos, George Tuska, Sal Trapani, Jack Kirby Publisher: Marvel Comics February 03, 2010
The stories in this volume are really strong, and the art is fresh and clear. (The art found in this book is also similar to the art in Essential X Men vol 3) After dealing with boring and lackluster eras like the when Captain America, Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver and Hawkeye were the only members and the very early years of the team we finally get to my favorite age of The Avengers.
However... more

| | 4. Amazing Fantasy Omnibus HC Brereton Variant |
| By: Stan Lee, Steve Ditko, Jack Kirby, Don Heck, Paul Reinman Publisher: Marvel Comics September 19, 2007
Stan Lee the man of thousand ideas. Before Stan Lee committed himself to super heroes the variety of his ideas spread from horizon to horizon. This book is evidence for that. Everything was possible. You get crime, monsters, SF, horror, history, mystery, and ... more than you can imagine. Each of these 68 short stories are well worth reading and some of them are classics. For example a story which... more

| | 7. Marvel Masterworks: The Avengers Volume 1 TPB (Marvel Masterworks Avengers) |
| By: Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, Don Heck Publisher: Marvel Comics May 27, 2009
I would recommend this comic to any Marvel Masterworks fan. It's fun to learn how the Avengers got together, and see their original roster in action. You also find out how the Avengers got their name. The book has an interesting and not-at-all boring introduction by Stan Lee (writer of Avengers, X-men, Spider-man and many other 60's titles you can get from Marvel Masterworks). At the end of the book... more

| By: Roy Thomas, Frank Robbins, Rich Buckler, Dick Ayers, Don Heck Publisher: Marvel Comics August 01, 2007
the invaders was the best comic ever made. this was my favorite comic book while growing up. and frank robbins was perfect for the book. he made everyone look like "nazi concentration camp survivors" including the superheros. some did't like his art back then because he refused to make everyone "pretty" and "juiced up" on steroids. but he caught the mood/ spirit of wwii. frank robbins was the invaders... more

| By: Stan Lee, Roy Thomas, Gary Friedrich, Len Wein, Gerry Conway, Allyn Brodsky, Gene Colan, Barry Smith, Barry Windsor-Smith, Don Heck Publisher: Marvel Comics September 07, 2005
If you love the old Marvel Comics like I do, give yourself a treat and try this volume. Stan Lee and Gene Colan were in "the groove" with ol' DD. Matt Murdock has to juggle super villains, his law practice and a second secret identity! Cool stories, great art and the real '60's feel. ... more
