| 1. The Graveyard Book |
|
By: Neil Gaiman Publisher: HarperCollins September 30, 2008
This was a really fun book. I love Neil Gaimen and even though this is clearly a kid's book and I may be a bit old for it, I loved it anyway!... more

| 2. Neverwhere |
|
By: Neil Gaiman Publisher: BBC Books 1996
A very fun, imaginative book, that is easy to read in just a few sessions. The writing is excellent, and it is easy to get swept along in the story. My complaint is that it isn't a very complex novel. It is very linear, has no subplot, and it feels as if some characters or ideas were introduced, but not ever explored by the end of the novel. A fun urban fantasy, but not much more than that... more

| 3. Coraline Movie Tie-in Edition |
|
By: Neil Gaiman Publisher: HarperFestival October 28, 2008
Coraline is a young girl, on holiday from school, who has recently moved into a new house. She is under-stimulated and bored as children often are when faced with added free time and little scheduling. In Coraline's eyes her parents are always working and far too busy to entertain her. Now you mustn't think that this is a story of a poor neglected girl. Keep in mind that she is out of school, during... more

By: Stephen King Publisher: Donald M. Grant Publisher, Incorporated 1997
I was very pleased with the item I had purchased. It was just as advertised and shiping was super quick. I collect Stephen King novels in hardback and always read the paperback version and this was perfect for that.
5 stars to this vendor. I would use them again... more

| 5. Batman: Arkham Asylum (15th Anniversary Edition) |
|
By: Grant Morrison Publisher: DC Comics November 01, 2005
While the story holds in this book, the artwork made it hard to follow as well as to understand. It all makes sense when you read the script notes in the back of the book, but while actually reading with the art it becomes confusing and annoying. While the artwork is at times interesting, it does not match the story in the traditional sense. Random characters are thrown into panels where you can't... more

| 6. Worlds' End (Sandman, Book 8) |
|
By: Neil Gaiman, Dave McKean Publisher: Vertigo July 16, 1999
In which Gaiman takes a breath before entering the inevitable final act of The Sandman. At first glance, World's End is another series of short stories, a la The Sandman Vol. 3: Dream Country and The Sandman Vol. 6: Fables and Reflections, albeit one with a stronger framework to it that reminded this English major of Canterbury Tales. But there's more going on here than meets the eye, and the final... more

| 7. The Sandman Fables and Reflections |
|
By: Neil Gaiman Publisher: Vertigo DC Comics January 01, 1993
Another collection of short stories in The Sandman universe, and while the results aren't as consistently strong as those in The Sandman Vol. 3: Dream Country, the high points are incredibly high. The two best stories bookend the novel. After a short introductory piece, "Three Septembers and a January" opens the novel, detailing the life of the only Emperor of America, with Gaiman crafting what could... more

| 8. The Wolves in the Walls |
|
By: Neil Gaiman Publisher: HarperCollins July 26, 2005
This is the first book I ever read by Neil Gaiman. I found it in the remainder section of a book store. It is wonderful! The story is about a girl who worries about what would happen if the wolves came out of the walls. Her family is irritated by her questions and answer by stating, that if the wolves come out of the walls then its all over. Well, one night the wolves do come out of the... more

| 10. Crazy Hair |
|
By: Neil Gaiman Publisher: HarperCollins May 26, 2009
I picked this up at the library for my husband to read to our 9-mo old for bedtime. I didn't read it before hand - the title and art made it seem worth the rental. That evening my husband and I were laughing out loud, loving the language and illustrations. Even our baby got into the act, pointing at the pictures and grinning. It was the first book my husband picked up the next night too. We'll... more
