I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It contains the majority of what you need to know. There are moments in the book when Nova & the Guardians appear that seem odd without having read their respective books but that does not take away from the overall story.

Part 2 of Annihilation: Conquest was more enjoyable for me than part 1 for several reasons. First, Nova is back. I loved Nova in the Annihilation event and he has really come into his own as a major player in the marvel universe as a result. Having him here boosts the story by one star automatically.

This is a great book. Following the Annihilation wave the Universe has plunged into chaos. The Phalinx are the newest threat. I enjoyed this series a lot.
