|
By: John Wagner, Alan Grant Publisher: Rebellion February 15, 2009
When I wanted to get into judge dredd I went to the internet and the major opinion seemed to be go with volume 4 or 5 the begining stuff is kinda boring I think this is a completely untrue analysis I have no former knowledge of Dredd other than the film and I loved this book granted sometimes dredd seems a bit cheesy but thats one of the only downsides besides inconsistant art which isnt a big deal... more

| 4. Judge Dredd vs. Aliens: Incubus |
|
By: John Wagner, Andy Diggle, Henry Flint Publisher: Dark Horse December 03, 2003
As a long-time fan of the Alien Versus lines, I was rather intrigued to see that the Aliens have branched out of their normal battles with DC superheroes and have made the jump to 2000AD's famous Judge Dredd. Having read the entertaining but mediocre Predator vs. Judge Dredd last year, I had minimal expectations for this comic, but I was very pleasantly surprised.
Perhaps the most noteworthy... more

|
By: Rennie Gordon Publisher: Black Flame October 28, 2003
Supposedly this is based on a game story, so either that is really good, or Rennie, being a Dredd expert, has just done a fine job.
Dredd, Anderson and Giant are all here.
So is EverPet, a pet revivification company. This is very nasty. Not quite as nasty as the Dark Judges, though.
Death has found a weakness in one of the Psi-Judges on guard rotation, and is... more

|
By: John Wagner, Alan Grant Publisher: DC Comics October 01, 2004
This is one of those inter-company crossover stunts, really. Two granite jawed lawmen with little tolerance for outsiders with strange abilities in their cities, must find a way not to beat the hell out of each other too badly, and eventually work together to stop a threat in Mega-City. Dredd tells Batman at the end of the Gotham based part of the story that it is foreseen he will be needed in Dredd's... more

| 9. Judge Dredd: Justice One (2000ad Presents) |
|
By: Garth Ennis Publisher: Titan Books (UK) July 31, 2003
Mega-City One Space Shuttle Justice One is playing host to Judge Dredd when a Judge is murdered. With only a skeleton crew on board, Dredd's list of suspects is small, but troublesome: They're all fellow Judges...
Justice One is ruined by the #1 problem I have with some Dredd stories: All of the Judges look exactly alike, so telling them apart in a whodunit is pretty tough. In the end... more
