| 1. A History of Violence |
|
By: John Wagner, Vince Locke Publisher: Vertigo December 01, 2004
I am a huge Cronenberg fan, and the actors he chose for the film were all 'dead on', excellent actors. BUT, I was hugely disappointed to change the final act of the book, and virtually remove the impact, the horror and the great original ending of the book. The graphic novel is an amazing read, I highly recommend it, and the film is still a good watch, but somewhat disappointed one for... more

|
By: John Wagner, Colin MacNeill Publisher: Titan Books (UK) 2004-01
Although listed as unavailable direct from Amazon.com, this title should still be available through third party vendors.
America is the ultimate Dredd tale. The true heart and soul of Dredd and his world is contained in this story. Dredd is never portrayed as brilliantly as he's shown here, and that's odd considering that this is one of the only times that the action is seen from a different... more

| 10. Star Wars: Boba Fett-enemy of the Empire |
|
By: John Wagner May 09, 2008
This graphic novel's main story, the four comic issue series "Enemy of the Empire" was decent at best. Boba Fett himself was very good, well-drawn, intelligent (as he should be viewed), and strong (unlike in Underworld). The rest of the characters and the storyline ruined everything. The story also seemed like it'd never happen in the Star Wars universe. Why would Vader enlist a group of weak assassins... more
