I can't ask for more. Like the first Red Hulk book, it was a fun, fast-paced read with great art. I'm a huge fan of the Long Halloween and other Loeb-Sale Batbooks and I'm an even bigger fan of Loeb after this series. The guy just writes fun stuff. He`s not one of those writers that feel a need to prove themselves, to show off their `skills' with pages and pages of dialogue and talking heads... more

| 3. Incredible Hulk: The End (Marvel Premiere Classic) |
|
By: Peter David Publisher: Marvel Comics February 13, 2008
This book of two stories, gripped me with excitement and left me pondering The Hulk 's life as a real experience if it happened to myself. The first story (Imperfect Hulk) had a lot of classic Hulk characterization to The Hulk and it 's enemy. But, the enemy (which I won 't spoil in revealing) was antagonistic and extremely precise in every move it made towards countering and creating elements of surprise!... more

| 4. Incredible Hulk: Planet Hulk |
|
By: Greg Pak Publisher: Marvel Comics April 30, 2008
For long-time comics readers, this is a great example of how the genre has evolved. Character and plot development are rich, dialogue and art are incomparably improved, and the creative teams manage to stay true to the original premise of the series. I don't read the Hulk regularly, but picked this and couldn't put it down. This is why people want TPBs to get more respect - they deserve it. Congratulations... more

By: Greg Pak, Peter David Publisher: Marvel Comics 2009-05
Okay, I know I might get some heat from this, but I was totally for the Hulk the whole way. I hate when people tell you whats good for you and what needs to be done a crap like that. Iron Man, Mr. Fantastic, Dr. Strange, and Blackbolt all get what they derserved.
That being said, I agree with the others when they say its nothing but a summer action movie. It is, but it also has a decent... more

| 6. Hulk: Green Hulk/Red Hulk HC (Incredible Hulk) |
|
By: Jeph Loeb, Ed McGuinness, Arthur Adams, Frank Cho Publisher: Marvel Comics December 09, 2009
I know some people have been giving Red Hulk books bad reviews, but I love it and can't wait for the Fall of the Hulks, and then World War Hulks! I like the mystery of "Who is Rulk"? I think it takes us on a different reading path as opposed to the same old villains and storylines. After Planet Hulk and World War Hulk, this is a very entertaining and fresh continuation of Hulk's story, and the... more

| 7. Hulk, Vol. 1: Red Hulk |
|
By: Jeph Loeb Publisher: Marvel Comics March 11, 2009
First things first, I hate the way the writer makes the Red Hulk powerful enough to defeat the Green Hulk & Thor! What kind of crap are they trying to sell us?! I mean come on! Our Green Hulk should have smashed Red Hulk and ripped his head off, while Thor should have smashed Red Hulk's skull with his hammer!
This is a lame attempt to out do the two great Hulk... more

| 8. Hulk: Skaar - Son Of Hulk HC |
|
By: Greg Pak, Ron Garney Publisher: Marvel Comics April 22, 2009
Having read Greg Pak's thrilling PLANET HULK and (less thrilling but still greatly entertaining) WORLD WAR HULK, I feel very qualified in saying that he's capable of so much more than what he delivers in SKAAR: SON OF HULK. A comparison may not be entirely fair, but, given the 'shared destiny' and obvious relationship between the subject matter, I think it's entirely warranted.
The chief... more
