| 2. Green Lantern: Agent Orange |
|
By: Geoff Johns Publisher: DC Comics November 17, 2009
Quite the entertaining story, Agent Orange is filled with terrific art work creating amazing images. Larlfleeze as Agent Orange is definitely one of the most interesting and entertaining characters in comics that I've seen in a while. It was a great read that I wish could have been longer, especially into Agent Orange's origin and that of his constructs. Otherwise, I anxiously await the Blackest Night... more

| 3. Green Lantern: Rage of the Red Lanterns |
|
By: Geoff Johns Publisher: DC Comics July 07, 2009
This book continues Geoff John's big Green Lantern story arc featuring Hal Jordan, the Green Lantern of my youth. When I first heard about these other colored Lantern corps, the whole idea seemed a little cheesy. But Johns has been able to make credible and interesting stories that stand on their own as stories and also plug into the larger "Blackest Night" storyline. I would definitely recommend this... more

| 5. Green Lantern (Book 1): No Fear |
|
By: Geoff Johns Publisher: DC Comics May 20, 2008
As a newcomer to GL series I started with GL: Rebirth and was overwhelmed by a sheer number of terms and characters. I didn't like it for that reason. This volume actually is a much better start for a new reader as it focuses on a story and a few characters instead of trying to mention everything in GL mythos... more

| 6. Green Lantern: Secret Origin |
|
By: Geoff Johns Publisher: DC Comics February 09, 2010
While DC Comics has a bad tendency of constantly retelling the origins of their characters, this is one story that needed to be retold, albeit with some great artwork and a story which ties into the upcoming Blackest Night mega event.
The last time DC retold Hal Jordon's origin was in the 1990 miniseries "Emerald Dawn". While that story was fair, the art was uninspired and outdated, even... more

| 7. Green Lantern: The Sinestro Corps War, Vol. 1 |
|
By: Geoff Johns, Dave Gibbons Publisher: DC Comics May 05, 2009
I regret a couple of things about this series:
1.- It's do darn short. 2.- Why they couldn't put it all in one fantastic volume?.
Well, now that I got that out of my chest, I can begin this review for The Sinestro Corps War, Vol. 1 by saying it was freaking awesome. I'm just getting in Green Lantern territory, and it all begun with Rebirth.
Action, answers... more

| 8. Green Lantern Vol. 2: Revenge of the Green Lanterns |
|
By: Geoff Johns Publisher: DC Comics October 07, 2008
That is the main question that is answered in this book. The main story is how the GL Corps treats Hal as well as Hal's attempt at redemption by saving the lives of many GLs he thought he had killed as Parallax. There is a side story with Green Arrow that could have been left out and another with Batman to show how he accepts Hal.
I liked the Batman story. It wasn't great but it had... more

| 9. Green Lantern Corps: Emerald Eclipse |
|
By: Peter J. Tomasi Publisher: DC Comics November 24, 2009
In the 80s when Green Lantern turned into "Green Lantern Corps" and then again into "GLC:Quarterly" I had high hopes for the book. On paper, the idea of 3600 Green Lanterns having adventures throughout the entire galaxy was like Robocop meets Star Trek. How could it fail? Well, the originals fell under terrible sales, lack of interest and poor writing. The book was canceled and the GLC was all but... more
